Baran started his accounting career at Mazars after his CPA trainee process. He worked for Mazars over 5 years as Manager and moved his career to PwC. He initiated Accounting Services Department in Ankara for PwC and run the departments over 5 years as Senior Manager. During his career, he performed and worked with major companies who operates in the industries such as defense, energy, construction, service and IT. At the same time, he has extensive experience of reporting services based on IFRS, US-GAAP or Group Accounting Principles.

He has over 15 years experience in accounting services. Baran Özongan is also entrepreneur and invests on many software start-ups. Monetics is one of them which is cloud-based employee management and payroll software. Baran Özongan and his team provide payroll services with their own software.
